Lebanon Hills Regional Park is located at 860 Cliff Rd in Eagan, Minnesota, The park has tons of trails and a beach. Holland Lake Trailhead
Holland Lake Trailhead features 12 miles of cross-country skiing trails and 14 miles of wooded hiking trails. It should be noted that some trails me be impaired due to the restoration project taking place. However, there is plenty of room to go around so don’t worry. At Holland Lake, you’ll find a fishing pier, a shoreline deck, a picnic area and shelter with public restrooms. There is also free parking available.
Equestrian Trailhead
When visiting the Equestrian Trailhead you’ll be offered the opportunity to peruse miles of scenic, wooded trails on horseback. Here there are over 10 miles of horseback trails and there is also a fire ring area. Where you can enjoy a recreational bonfire here in Eagan, MN. They provide parking lots for horse trailers and also have a picnic area with portable toilets. Please be advised that dogs, bikes, and hikers are not allowed on the Equestrian trails.
West Trailhead
The West Trailhead offers several rolling, wooded, single-track bike trails in the westernmost part of Lebanon Regional Park in Eagan, MN. It should be said that some of these trails are very challenging even for seasoned mountain bikers. The West Trailhead in open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and there is no entrance fee. However, there are if you are looking to go cross-country skiing there are trail use fees for that.
Schulze Lake Beach
Schulze Lake Beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The sandy beach area and pristine clear lake are a place for those in Eagan to relax and become one with nature while soaking up some sun. There are zero fees to use the beach and amenities include a picnic area with grills, a bathhouse with restrooms, and access to hiking trails. They also have Kayak, Canoe, and Stand-up Paddleboard rental at this beautiful little beach in Eagan. The beach is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. However, there are some restrictions. The beach is unguarded and swimming is only permitted in the designated areas. You are also not allowed to have alcoholic beverages, your own grills, fires, glass containers, inflatable or buoyant rafts/toys and pets are not permitted in the beach area, and no fishing is permitted here as well.
